The following discusses a delay related to the Hazard Analysis and Preventive Controls part of the rule for large businesses. I want to clarify what this means…
It is a delay in the timeline for inspections of large businesses only. The Industry must still comply with Sub parts C and E by this September for large business and next September for small business. The FDA will proceed with cGMP inspections as they have been.. The change is that the Feed Safety Plan inspections will be delayed for large businesses. If an incident identifies non-compliance with any parts of the rule the FDA will proceed.
The best advice for all is to: “Keep calm and get busy!”
The FDA posted the following today… This is valuable information and should be read by all…
